My good friend and start up business coach, Jill Tipping, has posted on her blog today about visualisations and how they can help us to achieve our goals. I wholeheartedly agree and I have a goals board next to my wall planner that I try and use every day to help me to really visualise the things that I’m trying to make happen.
I have recently put together a Mind Movie, which does the same job but in a ‘much-easier-to-fit-into-your-life’ sort of way. The Mind Movies team provide software to enable you to create your own movie, which you can play on your PC, phone etc any time you like (at least a two or three times a day is best); then there is an ongoing programme where you can download software to your computer to enable you to play your Mind Movie faintly in the background whilst you are working, to ‘train’ your subconscious. Even though I was really excited about doing my Mind Movie It took me a few weeks to do it as you have to find about 100 pictures to go with your affirmations, but there are pre-done movie available for you to use in the meantime that should be useful, if not specifically tailored to you. If you want to have a look at their website you can find it here Mind Movies.
